Some people dislike fluff genres but I think some occasional fluff gives you that fuzzy feeling in your heart.
This drama "Say I Love You" by Fukushi Sota and Kawaguchi Haruna is one kind of fluff that pretty much get your heart pumping fast without you getting the whole point of the movie. Fluff dramas/movies are not suitable for serious people cause you can never make sense of fluff. So don't even bother doing a review for the plot, cause there isn't one to begin with. Fukushi Sota is one hell of a hottie you just can't miss and it's probably how it gets rational people watching and ends up getting them all furious about how their time has been wasted on a junk.
If you're keen on knowing how the 'story' starts and ends, I'll try summarizing it though it gets awkward when it's put into words. Haruna plays the role of Mei who becomes an introvert after being betrayed by her friends during her childhood. She believes that Man betrays each other so she decided to isolate herself as a form of protection. But that side of her was what attracted the hottest guy in school who has hidden his vunerability to others except her. He was charmed by how she can be brave enough to shut out all the negative remarks of her. In contrast, he felt that he was the weakling. They were drawn to each other and eventually they let each other into the deepest of their hearts. The ice in her has melted but the deeper her love for him is, the more uneasy she gets. This inferior complex she has become a huge focus of the entire drama. Of course, the movie ends with him managing to convince her that his love for her will not waver. A simple, sweet ending with little or no inter-character conflicts, no major twists, no sign of maleficient or evil to angst things up.
Then again, the choice of male lead makes up for the 'exciting' plot. My heart constantly skips a beat when he kisses Haruna, even the poster was a killer.
Haruna probably cut this hair for this movie, that's why her character in Yamada Ryosuke's Kindaichi Neo, Miyuki Nanase, has a short hair instead of the long one in the previous 2 Kindaichi specials. I've seen somewhere that she was a fan of Yamada before they acted in Kindaichi, i wonder if that has changed. Between Fukushi Sota and Yamada Ryosuke, o i have to say the former fits her more, simply because he is taller. Even Yuto is quite a good match with Haruna. Yamada goes better with Ohara Sakurako. I'm totally shipping the 2 of them together.
That's all for now.

Flavours of Life will be where I document some of those human mysteries I observe in my surroundings which most choose to ignore. It can be extremely interesting to stop, observe and reflect on them because you may be surprised by the sort of enlightenment one can gather from them. It is also here where I seek mental relaxation as it provides me with an escapism from the harsh reality. I will also use this space to immerse in my obsession for entertainment (Well, I can't quite move away from this since it is one of my main source of virtual happiness)
